The newest member of the Avon Chamber of Commerce is Jim Muellenbach with Sunray Promo-Pak. Promo-Pak is a large format (9x12) direct mailed white envelope which gets delivered every month to all (6,000) mail boxes in the Albany/Avon/Freeport/Holdingford/St. Martin zip code areas. Promo-Pak has proven to be a very effective and economical vehicle for local business to communicate with local consumers which in turn helps those local consumers buy locally. Jim thanks the Avon Chamber for the opportunity to join their active and energetic group and looks forward to not only meeting all the Avon Chamber Members, but also helping on committees and contributing to the Chamber’s Mission to “create, protect and enhance a healthy business environment and growth” for the Avon Area. Although Promo-Pak has only started service to the Avon area since December, it has been in the Sartell area since 1993. Last spring, Sunray Printing Solutions of St. Cloud acquired the rights to Promo-Pak and started Paks in Alexandria (12,500), Monticello (7,500), Sartell (7,100), Becker/Big Lake (9,350), St. Joe/Waite Park (7,100), Sauk Rapids/Rice (9,100) and Willmar (10,250). Next month Promo-Pak is planning to introduce Paks in the Melrose/Sauk Centre/Grey Eagle (6,900) and the Champlin (9,000) areas with the Little Falls, Brainerd and Cold Spring Lakes areas shortly after that.
