This year the Avon Chamber of Commerce has
decided to combine our annual activity with
the American Legions’ annual Santa Days.
Dahlins grocery store also has their hay
rides picking up at City Hall for the ride
a-round town. There was a couple of reasons
to combine the two events: Usually the
weather is so cold and windy for the outside
event at The Wobegon Park. We thought it
was a good idea to have the Christmas Tree
Lighting while a lot of children and
families are in town for Santa Days. That
way it is only one trip out in the cold .
