As a part of our new Avon area Roots and

Shoots group, Join kids your age in local

projects to make the world a better place.

The first meeting will be held at 3:30 pm on

February 25th at the Village Bean.

One activity the group will be doing is going

on fun field trips. The best thing is the group

will decide what and where to go! Girls and

boys about 9-13 are welcome! There are lots of

Roots and Shoots groups all over the world.

Roots and Shoots was founded by Jane Goodall!

Calendar Cash Raffle

Tickets will be available for purchase for the calendar cash raffle March 1st at local businesses.
The drawing will be 7 pm/5-31-07 City Hall. The cash raffle month will be June this year to coincide with the Spunkacular days celebration. Winners will be posted weekly at local businesses. This will be the main fundraiser to purchase fireworks for Spunktacular days and to cover costs involved with this festival.
See Marilyn at Avon State Bank after 3-1-07 to pick up your raffle tickets to sell. Please help us with this fund raiser. It is greatly appreciated!

City Wide Garage Sale

This year the City Wide Garage Sale will be held on April 28, 2007 from 8am-4pm. Lookfor registration forms to be out by mid-March at local businesses.
